Midsommar

Swedish Midsummer (midsommar) is a major, joyous holiday celebrating the summer solstice (longest day of the year) on a Friday between June 19–25. It is marked by outdoor gatherings in the countryside, dancing around a flower-decorated maypole, making flower crowns, and eating traditional food like pickled herring and fresh strawberries.
